A Blue Badge allows you to park closer to where you need to be – like a supermarket, bank or hospital. It’s for drivers or passengers with mobility issues or certain mental health conditions.
With a Blue Badge you can:
Park in disabled bays, yellow lines and pay-and-display (often for free or without time restrictions)
Access other travel support schemes, like taxis, buses and exemption from many tolls and congestion charges
Blue Badges are issued by local councils across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
